Esther Morales

Esther Sancillo Morales, 66, passed away peacefully and was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on September 8, 2023. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be 6-8 pm, Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home with Derrick Watley officiating. Graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco, TX 11 am, Wednesday, September 13, 2023.
Esther was born December 17, 1956 in Gary, IN. to Ralph and Annie Sancillo. She attended Waco schools. She met the love of her life, Rudy, in 1971 and they had two children. She worked at Caritas as Director of Food Outreach for 19 years.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother sister and friend. She adored her great-grandsons and  loved caring for and spending  time with them.  She enjoyed cooking, dancing and keeping a tidy home. She was a member of Mighty Wind Worship Center for many years.
Esther is preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters.
Esther is survived by her husband Rudy Morales, son, Joshua Morales, daughter-in-law, Marissa ;  daughter Amanda Morales, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sister, Christine Sancillo and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their gratitude to  Baylor Scott & White- Hillcrest Hospice and staff for their compassionate care in her final days.
Memorials may be made in Esther's memory to Mighty Wind Worship Center.
